I didn't plan on publishing this movie here, basically because I already know what kind of comments I'll get on it. :P But I thought that I'd show you guys anyway.
Edge, another slowmotion movie. Not one of those regular ones though. I know that slowmotion movies should focus on tire deformation etc, but I chose to focus on other things. In the beginning to show LFS off, in the end to show some "drama" or whatever you could call it.
The movie is long, 4:41 to be precise. It's not action packed at all. I made it.. harmonic? Something to fall asleep to? lol.
Thanks guys. As I said in the first post, I know the song is overused but I felt like using it too. Just because it's the same song it doesn't mean it's just like any other movie. At least not in my eyes.
A little bit of racing, a little bit of drifting.
And an overused song to go along with that. Can it get any better? :]
Vimeo, the aspect ratio looks a bit weird on vimeo, download the movie (if it's good enough for you) and watch it through VLC and it'll be fine, at least that's the deal in my case. Youtube, MQ-version for download.
Another drifting movie. This will be the last drifting movie from me until I get better footage with more action in it.
This movie is something I made to try out some color filters and special effects in combination with each other. The drifting being shown is mediocre, I already know that, but still I tried to make it as entertaining I could by combining slow motion and faster parts. I don't know how I succeeded, you be the judge.
If you want the movie, you can dl it from vimeo. I've noticed that the movie itself can be a bit choppy in vimeos player, this however is nothing that I personally experience on my own computer when playing it with VLC.
At first I used Vegas 6.0 and rendered it with Xvid MPEG-4, the second render was made with Vegas 6.0 but with MainConcept AVC/AAC, in other words h264 codec and for me the bad fps was gone in the second render, hence me asking if it's the same for you guys.
Edit: Check the first post for a link to vimeo, should be fine there.
I would like to ask you guys for a favor. I rendered the video again with another codec, reuploaded it to youtube and now I would like you guys to see it and tell me if there's any bad fps in this one. If it is gone, I will definately use that codec in the future.
I just chose to watch the vid in normal quality to see if the low fps was there too, but it wasn't. After I watched the video in normal quality, I chose to watch it in high quality and the low fps never showed up. Strange.
Regarding the fps, this seems to have happened with oh, my 3-4 latest movies. Some shots are very jerky etc on youtube, I don't know why. Never had that problem before. The MQ-version however is fine.
